About
I'm Anna — a storyteller before anything else.
I write about the things we don't say out loud: burnout, late diagnosis, healing, and the quiet work of coming home to yourself.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember — first to make sense of my own head, and then, somewhere along the way, to make other people feel a little less alone in theirs. The page was where I went to slow the noise down. It still is.
For years I carried a low hum of feeling behind — too much and not enough at the same time — without a name for it. When the diagnosis finally came, it didn't fix me the way I'd hoped. It did something better: it let me stop fighting myself and start understanding myself. A lot of what I write now lives in that gap between who we're told to be and who we actually are.
The goal was never a louder life. It was a softer, more honest one.
That writing grew into essays, into a community, and into a softer corner of the internet that far more people found than I ever expected. I've been lucky to share my story on stages and in publications — talking openly about mental health with schools, employers, and organizations — and to write and create content for brands who want to do it with warmth instead of hype.
Alongside the words, I started building small tools — the gentle systems and resources that actually helped me grow, both online and off. I share them because the version of me who was overwhelmed and starting from scratch would have loved a hand to hold.
So that's what lives here: my words, my work, and the tools that got me through. If any of it makes you feel a little more seen, that's the whole point.
